Dear Chorley,
30th March, 1941.
also
As promised in our discussion this morning, I enclose copies of consitutional instruments for Hone Kone (Letters Patent and Royal Instructions, with Amendments); Hong Kong Defence Regulations. The re are several amendine Regulations, but as I understand that you do not want to study them very closely, I am only including one which appears to be affected by the Scheme unlying the proposed Order in Council.
I have glanced through the other amendments, and they all seem to relate to matters which would not affect people actually outside Hong Kone.
We shall be grateful if you can let us have the enclosures back when you have finished with them.
Yours sincerely,
To
C.H.CHORLEY, ESQ.
